jenis teks bahasa inggris (materi kelas XI SMA)

Kebanyakan orang bilang , bahasa inggris itu ngribetin. Tapi menurut aku sebenernya bahasa inggris itu asik looohhh. Sekarang nih, aku mau posting tentang jenis text ,buat kelas XI SMA. Aku nemu penjelasannya dari buku BSE lumayan mudengi sih…!!! J  ya udah, nih aku kasih .,,,

Jenis teks bahasa inggris ( materi kelas XI SMA )

1.Report Text

 ini text emang hampir sama dengan descriptive text . tapi bedanya, descriptive text  lingkupya lebih kecil dibanding report. Teks ini make Simple Present Tense sama kayak descriptive text.

Social function          : To descriptive the way things are, with reference ti a range of natural, manmade and social           

Generic structure    :

Ø  General classification    : Introducing the thing that will be talked about.

Ø  Description                    : Elaborating ang reporting on the subject in detail.

2.Narrative Text

                Siapa yang suka baca dongeng???? Nah ini sama kayak dongeng-dongeng yang sering kalian baca waktu kecil tapi bedanya yang ini make English!!!!!. Teks ini make Simple Past Tense.

Social Function         :To amuse, entertain ang to deal with problematic event which lead to a crisis or turning point of some kind which in turn finds a resolution.

Generic structure    :

Ø  Orientation        : Containing plot and characters.

Ø  Evaluation      : Evaluting the plight of the story.

Ø  Complication : Crisis of the story.

Ø  Resolution      :The crisis is resolved, for better or for worse.

3.Analytic Text

                Teks yang ini buat nguraikan suatu hal dan menyimpulkannya.Teks ini make Simple Present Tense.

Social function          :To persuade the reader or listener that something is the case.

Generic structure    :

Ø  Thesis                   : Introduce a topic and indicates the writer’s position; outlines the main arguments to be presented.

Ø  Argument           : Restates main arguments outlined , in a preview; develops and supports each    point/argument.

Ø  Conclusion         : Restates the writer’s position.

4.Spoof Text

                Kalo teks yang satu ini merupakan teks yang isinya cerita lucu tapi untuk memahaminya biasanyan butuh waktu yang banyak . so… buat kalian2 harus pinter2 mbacanya. Oke ! nih teks maka Simple Past Tense.

Social function          :To share with others a real story of which the ending is funny to amuse the audience or readers.

Generic structure    :

Ø  Orientation        : The opening of the story which sets the scene.

Ø  Events              : The details of the events in the story.

Ø  Twist                 : The funny or unpredictable ending of the story.

5.Hortatory Text

                Teks ini mirippppp banget kayak analytic tapi bedanya nih teks pada bagian akhirnya ada sarannya. Teks ini make Simple Present Tense.

Social function          :To persuade the reader or the listener that something should or should not be the case.

Generic structure    :

Ø  Thesis                         : Announcement of issue concern.

Ø  Argument                 : Reasons for concern, leading to recommendation.

Ø  Recommendation : Statement of what ought to or ought not to happen.
